Collaboration in a workplace involves a group of people sharing their ideas and skills in order to achieve a common goal. Working collaboratively, helps improve productivity and gives a sense of purpose in the organization. It also provides a platform to brainstorm ideas to address any inadequacy required for organizational growth.

Tata Power-DDL organizes Annual Business Associates (BA) Meet where the representatives of its business associates get to meet the top management. These meets are the means to develop a cordial relation with the BAs outside the reigns of work pressure. It is an absolutely open platform where business associates can voice their views and share their feedback.

Affirmative Action Collaboration meet with Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

DICCI is a premium national level organization that represents Dalit Entrepreneurs and works on the philosophy of "Be Job Givers – Not Job Seekers". Following the legacy of Tata Group's focus on Social Inclusion and hand holding our business associates (BAs), Tata Power-DDL (Contracts Dept.) organizes networking meets with Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) time to time, so as to showcase our leadership commitment and AA policy for handholding the business associates and adaption of prospective Vendors into Tata Power-DDL ecosystem.

13th Annual Business Associates Meet (FY 2023-24)

Tata Power-DDL organised its 13th Annual Business Associates (BA) Meet on March 21, 2024. The event garnered the presence of distinguished guests, including CEO, Mr. Ganesh Srinivasan and Special Guest Mr. Pankaj Kumar, a distinguished figure in the field of Total Quality Management (TQM) and an esteemed author, alongside other senior leaders. During his opening speech, Mr. Ganesh Srinivasan delved into TATA Power's holistic vision, encompassing sustainability, TQM, and safety. This vision was further elaborated upon by Mr. Bharat Kumar Bhadawat, Chief of Contracts, EAC & Consumer Litigation, who set the tone of the event by highlighting the importance of Safety, Sustainability, and Quality to the gathered business associates.

Mr. Ajay Aggarwal, HOD (Contracts), strengthened the agenda by conveying the feedback from field staff of business associates and articulating TATA Power DDL's expectations from them. Mr. Nikhil Pathak, Head (Technical Services, Quality Assurance, Sustainability & Collaborations), delineated the organization's strategic initiatives and vision regarding sustainability. Additionally, Mr. Bhupesh Bhandari, HOD (Safety), underscored the critical role of business associates in maintaining safety standards. Mr. Pankaj Kumar enriched the discourse with his profound understanding of quality principles and the essence of Total Quality Management.

12th Annual Business Associates Meet (FY 2022-23)

The meet was Presided over by the chief guest of the event Mr. Ganesh Srinivasan (CEO) along with other Senior Leadership Team of Tata Power-DDL. Mr. H.C Sharma, Chief (Business development, Stores, Contracts & Technical Services), in his welcome note elaborated on Tata Power-DDL’s vision towards sustainability and quality. Mr. Ajay Agarwal (HOD Contracts) further extended the tone of agenda by sharing expectations of Tata Power-DDL from Business Associates. Mr. SS Vashisht (Chief Ethics Counsellor) elucidated company’s strength on Ethics by demonstrating company’s Ethics Policy. Mr. Bhupesh Bhandari (HOD Safety) briefed about various safety procedures in place in Tata Power-DDL. The event was followed by Q&A session between the Business Associates and Top Management team of Tata Power-DDL along with various Rewards & Recognition given to deserving BAs.

11th Annual Business Associates Meet (FY 2020-21)

The 11th Business Associates Meet was organised on 20th March 2021. Mr Ganesh Srinivasan, CEO – Tata Power-DDL, was the Chief Guest of the event. The meet was graced by the presence of senior leadership members of Tata Power-DDL. Among the present were Chief (Commercial) - Mr Dwijadas Basak, Head (Operations & Safety) - Mr Subrata Das, Head (Network Service & Quality) - Mr Rajesh Bahl, Head (Business Development, Contracts & Stores) - Mr Y S Butola along with the other dignified leadership members.
